DROGA5

Working with Droga5 and the Clinton Global Initiative's data team, our goal was to get as many people as possible to pay attention to data stories about global women's rights. In order to amplify key information on women’s global rights, Droga5 created a campaign that drew attention by emphasizing presence through absence. To do this, images of women were removed from key media moments, from out of home, print and the web.  Online, we designed a limited, timed experience that challenged users to participate through sharing. In the first week alone, over 200,000 people engaged with the data, garnering attention from the UN, the Today show and press.
