SUPERBRIGHT + VRAI

Primeiring at SXSW 2019, TRAVERSE is a spatial audio platform that brings interactive audio to your home. Leveraging Bose technologies, working with Superbright and Vrai, we created experiences for music by Elvis (yes, really, that Elvis) and the Mars Rover Insight with Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). In each experience, the user walks through space, unlocking new audio experiences, whether the voice from Elvis or avoiding sand storms on Mars. Here, we used actual audio from Mars as a foundation for exploring how we can imagine, dream and experience new worlds.
The experiences were designed and premiered at SXSW, garnering a Jury prize, and have been extended onwards. Each experience is unique, and the platform is continuing to find creators who wish to explore further what it means to listen well to the worlds around us.
